WINDOWS 10 GETS A CUSTOMISABLE ‘DO NOT DISTURB’ MODE

‘QUIET HOURS’ ARE NO LONGER LOCKED DOWN.

- [ HD ]

Mac users have had a dedicated Do Not Disturb mode for a considerable time now, allowing you to turn off notifications and other disturbances at set times. Although Windows 10 has its own version — dubbed ‘Quiet Hours’ — it was previously locked to functioning in the timeframe of 12am - 6am. The option to customise this to whatever you’d like is now available in Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17074 (which is only available to members of the Windows Insiders Fast Ring at the time of writing), but this feature should hopefully roll out to the public within a few months. Beyond the ability to customise your Quiet Hours, the feature will automatically activate when duplicating a display or playing full-screen DirectX games.
