Amazon is still a bit of a novelty in Australia, but is making big steps to be used on a day-to-day basis as it adds features like AR product placement for its shopping app. While this feature has been available for some time on iOS, the mixed reality smartphone feature is making its way to Android following the release of ARCore on select Android units. AR View is accessed directly in the Amazon Shopping app once you have installed ARCore and will allow you to see that couch or dining table you’ve been eyeing placed in your living room before you buy it.
