INTERNAL CORRUPTION AT DJI LED TO INFLATED PRICES FOR CONSUMERS
DRONE COMPANY CLOCKS UP LOSSES OF US$150 MILLION.
The world’s largest manufacturer of consumer drones has unearthed several cases of corruption within its ranks that will cost it millions in losses. The corruption was discovered as part of a quality control check and the company has handed over a number of the cases to the Chinese authorities. Some of the charges involve employees inflating the price of individual parts for personal gain, thus giving DJI’s drones a premium price tag.
