Stretch it out

Stretching is one of the best ways to wake yourself up and get your energy flowing. Sit with crossed legs on the floor. Imagining a string pulling you up from the crown of your head, elongate your spine. As you inhale, place your left hand on your right knee, then as you exhale keep your spine tall and twist from your waist to the right. Return to the starting position then swap so you twist to the left. Repeat five times.
