90 white Mallow Bakes, halved 30 yellow mini M&M’s candles

1 Preheat oven to 160°C/140°C fan. Grease cake pan; line with baking paper, extending paper

5cm above sides.

2 Make cake according to directions on packet. Spread mixture into pan; bake for 50 minutes or until a skewer inserted into centre comes out clean. Stand cake in pan for 10 minutes; turn, top-side up, onto a wire rack to cool. 3 Level top of cake, position cake, cut-side down, on cake board; secure cake with a little butter cream.

4 Tint three-quarters of the butter cream pale green; tint remaining butter cream dark green. Spread pale green butter cream all over cake.

5 Spoon dark green butter cream into piping bag; pipe chain around sides of cake. Using picture opposite as a guide, make daisies from Mallow Bakes, using mini M&M’s for centres of daisies. Position candles on cake.
