SMOKY STEAK WITH SWEET POTATO CHIPS
PREP + COOK TIME 30 MINUTES SERVES 6
2 medium orange sweet potatoes
(800g), unpeeled, cut in long strips 6 beef T-bone steaks (1.8kg) 2 tablespoons light brown sugar 2 teaspoons smoked paprika 2 tablespoons malt vinegar 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce ¼ cup (60ml) tomato sauce
250g bunch rocket, trimmed 1 Boil, steam or microwave orange sweet potato until tender; drain.
2 Meanwhile, combine steaks with sugar, paprika, vinegar and sauces in shallow bowl.
3 Cook sweet potato on heated oiled barbecue (or grill or grill pan) for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
4 Cook undrained steaks on heated oiled barbecue. Serve steaks with sweet potato chips and rocket.
