Think pink
Rose quartz was Pantone’s 2016 Colour of the Year. Now, it’s showing up everywhere from the Milan runways to dresses (Carla Zampatti gown, 6-12, $1149, right), coats and accessories (Wittner boots, 36-41, $199.95, left) on the high street. If this pretty pink is not your style, mix it with earthy tones, pale khakis, rich browns, bronze or rose gold for impact. Think plastic waste can’t be beautiful? H&M are out to prove it can with their new sustainable range, the Conscious Collection. It includes kids’ and menswear, as well as ethereal gowns and sparkling party dresses created using a polyester called Bionic made from recycled plastic waste. Who says you can’t be sustainable and stylish, too. Bravo!
