If you work more than 39 hours a week, you could be risking your health. That was a finding of a study from the Research School of Population Health at the Australian National University. It went further, recommendi­ng 34 hours per week as the healthy limit for women, as they spend more time caring for others and doing domestic work. “Long work hours erode a person’s mental and physical health because it leaves less time to eat well and look after themselves properly,” says lead researcher Dr Huong Dinh. So put your feet up!
