My doctor had been harping on at me to do a mammogram; I said no, cancer doesn’t run in my family. Eventually she said ‘just do it for me’.

IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE

If you are not sure, talk to your doctor and book a mammogram. It’s better to be safe than sorry. Don’t do what I did and wait nine years, because breast cancer can happen to anyone. If you don’t have breast cancer, that’s good, but if you do, there are services and people who will help you.
