Kate Ritchie Kate knows what it means to seize the day. In 2007, the veteran actress walked away from a role she had played almost her whole life, as Sally Fletcher in Home And Away. “I was so highly emotional. I didn’t know where I was headed,” she says.

She recalls walking the Logies’ red carpet and people asking her how she felt about coming to the awards ceremony for the last time. “It was like it had been the death of me.” Kate has since gone on to conquer radio, become a mother and an author. “When I watch that person I want to tell her everything will be okay. Not everything you are will always be pinned to that one job or that one achievement,” she says.
