Lisa Wilkinson Lisa has followed the big royal stories every step of her career, anchoring hours of live coverage for Prince William’s wedding. She says her thoughts often turned to Diana and how proud she would have been. “It would have been fascinating to see where Diana’s life had taken her had she not died in Paris in 1997,” the Today co-host says.

“In her last years she had started to become her own woman, actively getting involved in causes she believed in, and bringing up her boys in a way the royal family had never seen before.” How has Diana inspired her? “It’s a cliché but true – live every moment to the fullest, and treasure those you love,” Lisa says.
