Stuart Diver was pulled from a concrete tomb after 65 hours in 1997, he chose to tell his incredible, yet heartbreak­ing story exclusivel­y to The Weekly.

The landslide swept away two ski lodges, killing 18 people, including Stuart’s wife, Sally, who was in bed next to her husband when the landslide occurred.

The deeply moving story won its writer, Michael Sheather, the Journalist of the Year award.
