The Scrubs

The Australian Women's Weekly - - Scholarship -

Face scrubs may be intrinsic to our skincare routines, but in body care regimens exfoliation is a frequently overlooked step. Similar to a face exfoliant, the goal of a body scrub is to slough away any surface level build-up and in the process improve the overall appearance and texture. Sugar or coffee-based formulas are the current darlings of the category. Sugar is revered for being a nonabrasive water-retaining humectant, while the caffeine from coffee encourages blood flow circulation for even skin tone.
