Driver flees car fire

A MOTORIST has escaped a fiery crash south of Cairns with only minor injuries. The 28year-old man’s car caught fire after colliding with trees on the corner of Kate and Grundy streets in Woree about 10.20am yesterday. He managed to free himself and was taken to Cairns Hospital with minor injuries.
