Tougher laws for attacks

-

AMAZING that Cameron Dick (Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services) has said that he will ensure that anybody who attacks an ambulance officer in the course of their duty that they are punished with the full force of the law.

Unfortunately, the full force of the law means little.

Cameron is a member of the current government who, if he wants to, can change the system.

There should be a mandatory sentence straight up of two years for an attack on an ambulance officer, with no parole.

And please Labor, don’t blame the Newman government, they were only there for one term. You were there way too long before. So, please look after those who one day may look after yours. Gary Fleet, Manunda
