HANGING out with pop superstar Justin Bieber is nothing out of the ordinary for this Sydney lass.
In fact Gabby Westbrook says famous friends come with the territory of being a New York-based fashion model.
The 20-year-old, who grew up in Edgecliff, is back to walk local catwalks for international brand Kookai and has played down her celebrity friendships.
She is besties with fellow model Hailey Baldwin – daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin – who is dating Bieber.
Meanwhile, Westbrook dates supermodel Christie Brinkley’s son, Jack BrinkleyCook.
“I don’t really even think about it,” she said when asked about her high-profile pals.
“It comes with the territory because some of my friends are in the spotlight.”
Westbrook has also become mates with a fellow successful Aussie modelling export.
“Nicole Pollard is a great friend of mine,” she said.
“There are a lot of Aussies in America – New York especially.”
Westbrook moved to the Big Apple two years ago, quickly carving out an im- pressive international career. She’s starred in campaigns ranging from Vera Wang to Urban Outfitters and walked in runway shows for Calvin Klein and Alexander Want.
Westbrook is in Sydney for just a few days for the unveiling of Kookai’s spring/summer cruise collection.
