Two face cannabis charges
TWO men have been charged with drug-related offences after police found a cannabis crop at a property in Upper Barron.
It will be alleged that a 30year-old man had been growing cannabis in the backyard of a property on Stonehouse Rd, and that another man, 33, at the address was in possession of dangerous drugs.
Police executed a search warrant about 7.50am and found about 40 cannabis plants, a quantity of dried cannabis and utensils.
The 33-year-old was charged with possessing dangerous drugs and utensils, while the 30-year-old was charged with producing and supplying dangerous drugs and possessing utensils.
Both men will appear in the Atherton Magistrates Court on November 8.
