Mystery drug not flakka
POLICE toxicology tests have shown that the mystery drug at the centre of a spate of Gold Coast hospitalisations over the weekend was not flakka.
Instead, tests showed hospitalised patients ingested a cocktail of amphetamine- type substances, including MDMA and LSD. More than 20 people were treated by paramedics after suffering adverse reactions to drugs over the weekend, including 16 who were believed to have taken the mystery drug.
