QUEENSLANDERS can now opt to get one of the worst type of letters they will ever receive via email or text.
The dreaded traffic infringement notice can now be delivered to email inboxes and mobile phones after the launch of a Queensland Police app. It means officers equipped with the app will no longer have to write out traffic infringement notices or send them via post.
“It is important to stress that this in an opt-in system,” Acting Insp Gavin Raison said.
