Tinaroo holds court

THE Tinaroo Canoe Club is hosting a fun paddle rogaine at Lake Tinaroo next month.

The water-based orienteering event requires a canoe or other paddlecraft such as a kayak, race ski or sit-upon.

More than 80 per cent of the check points are within 20m of the water’s edge.

There will, however, be a couple of land controls which will require at least two team members to travel up to 100m from the water’s edge.

You must have a minimum of two people in a team, and if you are paddling single craft, you must stay together.

The paddle rogaine will be held at Tinaroo Environmental Education Centre, Black Gully Rd, Tinaroo from 8am Sunday, November 6.
