Shoreline health check

THE Cairns and Far North Environment Centre is teaming up with Mangrove Watch next weekend to deliver an exciting cruise in Cairns.

Trinity Inlet Boat Cruise/Mangrove Health Check will be offered on Sunday morning, October 30.

It is an educational cruise for students, nature loving gardeners and people interested in the sea edge.

You will learn the signs to look for, and how citizen scientists are using assessment tools like shoreline video to learn more about mangroves.

The hosts are the Mandingalbay Yidinji people, along with expert scientists with Mangrove Watch.
