On Elton John concert

Can someone explain how the mayor and two or three others can take it upon themselves to make a $300,000 decision and are there any others in the pipeline? Steven, North Cairns CRC has got to be kidding wasting 300k of ratepayers’ money to get a musician to play here in Cairns. Very similar to Val’s Volcano I think, spending on something that only a very small percentage of people will enjoy. Gav, Redlynch
