Campbell tribute vow
Stuart. David says George was the “first big pop star” he idolised growing up and he won his debut role at a school concert when he was a student at Northfield High by auditioning with Kissing A Fool.
“He was taken so suddenly from us and his passing made me vow I will never say ‘I will see them next time’ when an artist comes to town,” David says, adding the production will “honour the songs” rather than try to reinvent them.
“It is our tribute to him. We’re not going to try to do a different version like Adele.”
