Butt out Bernardi

-

JOEL Creasey is a selfconfessed “fame hussy” and loves the attention, but when it comes to his sexuality he wishes everyone would mind their own business.

The openly gay comedian, who is bound for the stage at Brisbane Comedy Festival next month, personally called out controversial Liberal Senator Corey Bernardi.

“The conservatives need to get a grip,” he said.

“It’s like Corey Bernardi, we don’t want anything to do with you so stop talking about us.

“If gay marriage gets passed we’re not going to split up heterosexual couples and steal them away.

“It just blows my mind because it’s a non-issue what we do with our love lives.”

Creasey, 26, will perform his new comedy show Poser at the Brisbane Powerhouse from March 12.

“I’m so pumped to come to Brisbane,” he said.

“I wouldn’t be expecting anything too deep from me or any political views.

“I really just talk about my own misfortunes and make people feel better about themselves.

“Essentially I just want to take over the world.”
