Drug charges

A CARAVONICA man will face court next month after a police raid allegedly located drugs at his residence. Officers from the Far North Tactical Crime Squad searched the Valmadre St residence about 10am on Wednesday and allegedly locating quantities of dried cannabis, a cannabis plant and a number of other items of interest including unidentified tablets. The 54-yearold man was issued with a notice to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on April 10 and faces one charge of producing a dangerous drug and two charges of possession of a dangerous drug.
