Man charged

POLICE have charged a Bungalow man who allegedly stole a wallet and used the victim’s credit card to make a purchase at a bottle shop. It is alleged the 19-year-old broke into a Dodd Ct home in Mooroobool on February 17 and stole the items while the victim slept in a nearby room. He allegedly used the card to buy items from a Manunda bottle shop which led police to identify him. The man was charged with three counts of fraud and one count of attempted fraud. He is due to appear in Cairns Magistrates Court in April.
