Crash case adjourned

THE case against a Coen man accused of being responsible for the traffic crash that killed his mother will be mentioned again next month.

Scott Browning, 49, is charged with dangerous driving causing death over a truck rollover on the Peninsula Development Rd near Laura on April 13, 2015.

His mother Patricia Clarkson, 73, was trapped inside the truck cabin for several hours and died in Cairns Hospital several days later.

The charges follow an almost two-year investigation into the crash. The case was adjourned until April 19.
