Learner driver teens get green light

UP to 90 Mooroobool teens are on the road to success after obtaining their learner drivers’ licences as part of My Pathway sessions.

Held at the Mooroobool Hub, the three sessions provided a supportive group environmen­t for the teens.

Many family members went along to support their children, nieces and nephews and enjoyed a barbecue lunch.

My Pathway Mooroobool Hub co-ordinator Nyamie Cedric said such events provided a great opportunit­y for the community to connect.

“My Pathway has been facilitati­ng the learner driver’s licence sessions a couple times a year with great success,” he said.

“Local youth are eager to get their qualificat­ion ... and we’re able to offer it in an inclusive environmen­t that involves family.”

“We’re really pleased to have so many local community members come and get involved. It’s a clear signal the Hub is open to support Mooroobool with value-adding programs and services.” their friends and
