Woman cut free
A WOMAN was taken to hospital as a precaution after she had to be cut from her car in a crash in Mareeba yesterday. Two cars collided about 6.15am on the corner of Byrnes and Vaughan St. A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said fire crews had to spend about half an hour cutting the woman from the car. Queensland Ambulance Service said the woman was taken to Mareeba Hospital for precautionary reasons.
