Pitt preaches uplift

TREASURER and Member for Mulgrave Curtis Pitt (right) gave an upbeat appraisal of the state’s economy at a business networking event in Cairns last night. More than 100 people participated in the CCIQ Business After Hours function, held at BDO North Queensland.

“For the fourth straight month, businesses in Queensland have recorded the highest level of confidence in the nation, according to the latest NAB monthly business survey,” Mr Pitt said. “My driving motivation is seeing this positivity and optimism translate into jobs and opportunities for Cairns.”
