Dancers discover Rainbow
DANCERS from Bentley Park College have put their best foot forward during a Dancenorth workshop at the Centre of Contemporary Arts.
Sixteen-year-old jazz and tap dancer Rhylee Wilson said she was thrilled to be able to take part in the Rainbow Vomit workshop before the shows next week. See the video on our website www.cairnspost.com.au
“Our teacher thought it would be cool for us to get experience. We’re going to see Rainbow Vomit, so I feel like this will help me appreciate it a lot more than I already will,” she said.
Dancenorth community and education co-ordinator Jessica Devereux said running the workshop gave dancers and spectators a fresh appreciation for Rainbow Vomit.
“The participants from the public have the chance to learn the repertoire from the show and get an insight into the way we made the movement for the work,” she said. SPORTS fanatics, this one is for you.
