QUEENSLAND’S most television-friendly family have added another program to their list of on-screen achievements, after appearing on Celebrity Family Feud in the US yesterday.
Bindi, a previous winner of the US-version of Dancing With The Stars and huge fan of the show, headed up a team that included her TV veteran mother Terri and her younger brother Robert, who has been on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon no fewer than three times since February.
The popular trio were joined by their cousin Daniel Marineau and his wife Sara, as they faced off against actor Chrissy Metz, known for her role in TV series This is Us.
Bindi, 18, was particularly pleased to take part, telling host Steve Harvey she was “tip top terrific”.
“You’re family to us, truly. So thankyou very much,” she said.
Harvey was equally delighted, replying: “This is a cool moment, man.”
Bindi’s boyfriend, American wakeboarder Chandler Powell, 20, was notably absent from the line-up, but it appears the couple are as loved-up as ever.
Terri, a familiar face on Larry King Live, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Good Morning America, told television’s Entertainment Tonight: “Chandler is awesome. He’s very kind to Bindi.
“A very smart and talented young man. He’s just utterly perfect.”
