And the store has been so successful owner Nick Dagg said he was branching out to a second “little beauty” at the Barr St Markets at Earlville. Last year the team received the best pork sausages and best burger awards in the tropical category at the 2016 Sausage Competition, which was the second year it had won the best burger award.

And the store has been so successful owner Nick Dagg said he was branching out to a second “little beauty” at the Barr St Markets at Earlville.
“It’s going to be really good,” Mr Dagg said.
Last year the team received the best pork sausages and best burger awards in the tropical category at the 2016 Sausage Competition, which was the second year it had won the best burger award.
Mr Dagg was also selected to compete alongside five of Australia’s best in the World Butchers Challenge, finishing in second place.
“Now we’ve been selected to compete in Belfast in 2018 ... it will put us on a world playing field,” he said. Mr Dagg said his business had outgrown the Bayview Heights butchery after four years.
Earmarked to open in August or September, the new shop will include a special room to age cheese and a “purpose-built Himalayan salt dry age room”.
“The meat industry is one of the hardest to survive in,” Mr Dagg said.
“My goal is to try to get people back to butchers.”
