SDA proposal questioned
CURTIS Pitt suddenly announces a State Development Area south of Edmonton/ north of Gordonvale in the Mulgrave electorate (CP, 11/7).
Prior to this announcement, there had been no consultation with the local community, no public notice given and no reason as to why it is suddenly needed (it isn’t).
Consultation closes on August 11, which is just weeks after the announcement. Seriously? This announcement sounds just like the election promise Curtis made about the Edmonton hospital getting built and to be completed by 2015. We know what happened to that election promise.
So is the SDA just another attention seeking promise like the Edmonton hospital?
