Education Minister Kate Jones denounced any suggestion­s of religious interferen­ce in schools and promoted religious instructio­ns. Local, Cairns Re: J Romer (CP, 3/8). The latest census shows why religious education should no longer be part of the already full curriculum. “No religion” was the largest represente­d group. If parents want to teach their values, they can at home, regardless of denominati­on. M, Manoora Last week Julian Tomlinson cited noted right wing fact distorter Andrew Bolt against ATSI people. This week he extols the virtues of rabid Cory Bernardi. Why can’t we have balance in views, instead of these biased reporters pushing a right wing agenda with misquoted “facts”?
