MARRIAGE today is not needed to bring children into the world. Almost 50 per cent of children today are born out of wedlock. Same-sex couples already can have children, including adoption.

You don’t have to worry about “what will happen next” if you are a heterosexu­al as it will not impact you whatsoever.

We are talking about real people here, just wanting to be treated equally. Regardless of who is making the noise, the majority of LGBTIQ folks are just quietly sitting through the indignity of having us discuss their future.
