SPOOKY SNACKS

YUMMY MUMMIES

All you need are strawberries, white chocolate and mini chocolate chips. Wash and dry strawberries. Melt white chocolate then drizzle around the strawberry so it resembles “mummy” bandages. Place chocolate chips for eyes.

SAVOURY SPIDERS

The base ingredients are burger bun, large pretzels and some form of condiment. Cut burger buns in half and fill with desired sandwich fillings. Dab condiment on the front for ‘eyes’. Break up pretzels and stick in top bun for spider legs.

CHOCOLATE BARK

You will need chocolate chips, snakes, gummy worms and any other ‘creepy crawly’ lollies. Melt chocolate and then smear thickly on baking paper. Place lollies on top. Leave in fridge to set and then break up and serve.

FRUIT MONSTERS

This one is simple but the bonus is it’s fun (and healthy!). Cut up a range of fruit, and include mandarin segments for mouths and carrot strips for antennae. A melon baller is preferable for securing the carrot strips. Use jam for eyes.

CREEPY LIPS

Cut up an apple into thick slices (the skin of the apple is the lips). Using two slices of apple, smear peanut butter on the inside of both slices as ‘gums’. Press mini marshmallows into peanut butter and gently sandwich together.
