HAVING made her desire to become a mum clear, a vasectomy didn’t stop Sophie Monk from following her heart.

Monk chose Stu Laundy in the Bachelorette series finale last night, declaring she and the publican are looking at options in their quest to have children together.

“I would love to (have kids with Laundy),” Monk said.

Laundy has four daughters with ex-partner, Rachel. And while he had the vasectomy some years ago, he has sperm frozen.

“It can be reversed but before you have an operation like that, you can plan ahead if you’re half smart and I did,” Laundy said. “I can have as many kids as I want regardless of how successful the reverse is. I would love to have more kids. To be honest, I think kids make the world go round.”

Monk, 37, chose Laundy over vineyard manager Jarrod Woodgate after narrowing the pair down from 22 blokes vying for her affection on the Channel Ten reality show.

It was attraction at first sight when Laundy, 44, entered the series.

“I knew the chemistry was there straight away but at the same time I wanted to go with my head rather than my heart and I just couldn’t help it at the end,” she said.

Moving in together is on the cards, although they say they are simply looking forward to spending time together.

“A base on the Gold Coast and a base in Sydney doesn’t seem that unrealistic,” Laundy said.
