Regardless of the weather, the game commences at 1.30pm each Monday and lasts three hours. Names are required to be in the hands of our selector Rosemary before 11.30am on her phone 40360624 or can be left at the club before 1.00pm. The cards are called at 1.15pm at which time all players should be present. Any registered lawn bowler can join us for an afternoon of noncompetitive played in pleasant conditions. Brothers Edmonton Bowls Club Innisfail Bowls Club

On Thursday the good weather encouraged 33 players on to the green. The winners were L.Fedalto, C.Kinbacher, J.Messina, T.Sorbello. Don’t forget that next Thursday is the first of Alf’s November ham days so we are looking for at least thirty players. On Saturday it was disappointing to have only 8 players on the green. However the players made up the lack of numbers with their enthusiasm and fellowship to ensure that those present had a really enjoyable afternoon. We urge a few more to come along and see what they have been missing out on. The winners on the day were G.Anderson, T. Whykes, G.Edgerton, V.McAvoy. In the Consistency Singles S.Dallapozza 120 defeated I.Hamann 80. J.Walker 121 defeated P.Anderson 107. We are now up to the Semi Final Stage with the following games to be played on or before 3rd November. D.Juhas versus J.Walker. S.Dallapozza versus G.Goes. Next weekend 4/5 November sees the staging of the Innisfail/South Johnstone Golden Bowls so there will be no Social bowls on that Saturday. Saturday 2nd December is Patrons day so mark the date on your calendar so we have a record crowd to show our appreciation for John’s support over the years.
