NTP’s – Wayne Dowell on 6, Wayne Dowell on 8, Rick Weimer on 10. Wednesday’s Nine Hole stableford Event was won by Digby Gotts with 21 points. NTP’s – John Cameron on 13 Thursday’s Ladies Event was won by Julie Hooker with 33 points, in 2 nd Trish Landy with 32 points and Julie Galbraith in 3 rd with 29 points. NTP’s – Julie Galbraith on 8, Trish Landy on 13. Friday’s nine hole Mossman Golf Club Chook Run was won by Brendon Wood with 16 points on a C/B to Daniel Lancaster. Saturday’s Men’s Stableford Event was won by Bill Everingham with 44 points ahead of David Budge with 40 points and David Heron in 3 rd with 39 points. The weather Gods shone down on Royal Millaa this weekend for the Lion Drink & Dairy sponsored days, with only a couple of showers to cool down the players. Saturdays 4 ball ambrose was hotly contested with great prizes donated by Lion, great thanks goes to Emma for organising it. Then a barbeque on Saturday night to top the day off. Sunday again was a great day, with both our club champions coming in the winners. Paul Foster won the 18 hole overall net, John Bochow R/u 18 hole net, Ollie Duncan A grade gross, Alan Hapgood B grade gross, Alan Dwyer C grade gross. Senior net Bruce Hunter, Junior winner Mathew Graves. Ladies 18 hole overall net Barb Clifford, A grade gross Tracey Dickenson, Senior net Yvonne Wulf. The shot of the day went to John Scott last group in, on hole 18, 100 metres from the green, someone had left their desert bowl on the grass and Scottie got his ball in!! Not a hole in one, but a “bowl in one”, with much cheering from the peanut gallery. The barbeque donated by Elgas was won by David Gibson.
