I’ve been living in Cairns for about 25 years — I’m 27 myself, so I’ve been here most of my life. I go up to Glacier Rock probably five times a week, love walking in the bush to find new swimming holes. I just bloody love Cairns. What makes it so different from other places is the people, the atmosphere, and just the nature. There’s nowhere near as many trees in any other bloody city. You can go down to the beach and there’s no one there. It’s awesome. When I get visitors, I like to show them the natural wonders — we go to the reef, rainforest, chill out at the beach. The only change I’d make is to bring in more jobs.
