CALL FOR CARPENTERS NOW PICKING UP

-

REDLYNCH resident Glen Kelb knows the cyclic nature of demand for trade skills having spent 40 years as a carpenter. The TAFE North teacher followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. “It is great. I’d do it all again. The camaraderie and the money was good. When I first got into TAFE in 2008, it was at the end of the boom and everything started to plateau. I have seen it start to pick up in the last six months. It is a good lifestyle — you work hard and you finish early.”
