Wife killed over footy

A MAN has stabbed his wife to death because she changed the TV channel from an American football game he was watching while he went outside to smoke.

Investigators said Tony Thomas, from a small town in Arkansas, admitted killing his wife

Thomas, 58, of Carlisle, has been charged with the capital murder.

Investigators said he admitted killing his wife, Elke, during an argument after she switched the TV channel in November.

He’s been jailed since the incident.
