DAINTREE TO COOKTOWN

-

The inshore wonky holes off Cooktown have fired up large-mouth nannygai and gold spot cod. Small queenfish and trevally are thick around Cooktown Wharf. Mangrove jacks and barra have been active along the dirty water lines and a few mud crabs have been caught. Live prawns have been top bait. The Daintree River has been on fire with jacks, fingermark, queenfish, barra, trevally and grunter caught on soft plastic vibes and poppers.
