Winning team for the day was Bill McCarthy, Wayne Christensen, Michael Lancaster and Daniel Lancaster with 53.5 nett and in 2nd Geoff Goodwin, Daniel Coulthard, Dale McKay and Brendon Wood with 55.25 nett. Best Dressed Team went to Peter Clark, Warren Bishop, Stephen Leak & David Heron. Saturday’s Mossman Golf Club Men’s Saturday Stableford Competition was won by Andrew Moylan with 41 points on a C/B in 2 nd Stephen Lyons with 41 points and in 3 rd Bruce Cheesman with 38 points on a C/B to Warren Bishop in 4 th with 38 points. Saturday’s Mossman Golf Club Ladies Saturday Stableford Competition was won by Trish Landy with 30 points in 2 nd is Julie Galbraith with 26 points and in 3 rd Julie Hooker with 25 points. Graham ‘GG’ Suffield’s 60th birthday went off with a BANG at the RSL and continued at Royal Millaa Millaa on Sunday with the RSL/Falls Teahouse Monthly Medal combined with his 60th Stableford event. Graham won the monthly medal OACB from John Reynolds with 65 net and Graham Murray 3rd with 67. Annie Hapgood won the ladies 74 nett with Barb Clifford r/u on 77. John & Annie won the Suffield stableford event with 40 & 32 points. NTP’s went to Don, Barb. Paul & Ash. Next week is a Club Trophy Day. An early morning deluge over the RMCC didn’t deter the members chasing the February Monthly Medal on Sunday. In challenging conditions the course proved it was anyone’s game. The Barron Valley Hotel Gross Winner was Shane Escott with 84. The Club Hotel Nett Monthly Medal Winner Guy Williams with 74, runner up was Junior Prudence Wright with nett 75. Men’s Longest Drive was taken by Kev Randolph & Ladies Longest Drive Tarnia Wright. The encouragement award recipient was Emily Bowden, it was Emily’s first 18 Hole competition which she enjoyed playing along side our Junior Travis Wright. Wednesday Chook Comp was won by Jo Klease with nett 38 runner Up was Russell Bathe nett 43. Weather permitting the Wednesday Chook Comp will tee off from 8am. This coming Sundays 18 Hole Comp is an 18 Hole Stroke event sponsored by the RMCC. Registrations close at 9.15am for a 9.30am tee off.
