On Julian Tomlinson

The Murray-Priors (letters, 6/2) are “projecting” the left’s automatic pre-emptive attack self-defence mechanism. Accuse others of your own shortcomings. Trump would smile sympathetically and say, “Sad.” Woz, Parramatta Park Re: letter from Murray-Priors (CP, 6/2). I thoroughly enjoy Julian Tomlinson’s articles. They give facts rather than the usual politically correct line. Let’s hope he never cops the same treatment as Professor Peter Ridd is getting from JCU re free speech and reporting facts. Bev, Atherton To all the leftists and Murray-Priors of this world (letters, 6/2), who can’t handle the truth of Julian Tomlinson’s articles, I have a simple comment: “Suck it up”. His commentary is spot on, factual and most of the silent hard-working Australian majority agree with it. The 10 per cent of the population who have a biased socialist view of the world will always get triggered by the truth. The Black Adder, Mt Sheridan zone (CP, 6/2). No forced donations of taxpayers’ money are required. Higgs, Tolga I am truly impressed by the very clear and objective statements in Peta Credlin’s column “We’re fair and get over it”, about Australia‘s history and its unique standard of multiculturalism. Some writers build their case on facts, others on feelings. I have long believed whatever you go for, reality is what you get, and what will ultimately bite you on the bum if you pretend it is not so. Reader, Woree The surge in “renewables” projects (CP, 6/2) is because the global warming scam is collapsing. Australia may soon be the last country left pretending we need them. Mic, Cairns Launching into a busy year it would be so nice to go on a holiday on a cruise ship and live in luxury. Janelle, Woree Kuranda and Gillies range roads have been closed. Pity nobody has pointed out the Quaid Rd to this dumb government. G.A. Brinsmead Despite our debt now exceeding half a trillion, Turnbull wants to borrow more billions to give out tax cuts to enhance Liberal election chances. Were they not elected screaming about our debt and deficit emergency? It is nearly three times worse under their mismanagement and worsening daily. Terry, Kanimbla Re: 5/2 letter on new traffic lights on Bill Fulton bridge. Exactly Danny. The local member didn’t care if there were better traffic options for the project. Nick, Cairns

?? ?? ALTERNATIVE: A reader says that, while the Kuranda and Gillies range were both closed, nobody pointed out Quaid Rd to the government.
