Shooting Results The Club shot a long 600 yards and varying light with a gentle breeze kept the shooters on their toes. In an all F Open contest David Stewart had a narrow one point advantage on both ranges taking the first from Steve BerryPorte­r 60.7 to 59.5 and the second from Craig Pocock 66.5 to 65.6. Scores for the day were: D Stewart 126.12, C Pocock 124.8, P Smith 121.8, S Berry-Porter 120.10, M Edge 120.4, M McDonnell 118.3, P Lloyd 113.4. Next week Herberton club will shoot double 500 yards. The TCA started the New Year on Sunday February 4, with junior and senior members shooting practice rounds. Visitors who attended the coaching session with George Neislon were Jett Farley, Dave & Judy Harland, Michael and Jemma Denigen. Three senior members and two junior members shot club rounds. Neil Prince and Will Smith shot practice and Ben McDowell and Angus Hodgetts shot a club round. Results Launceston Round: (consists of 36 arrows each at 50m and 30m on an 80cm face). Next Sunday February 11 coaching will be conducted for visitors and beginners, from 9am to 12md at Kerribee Park Archery Range, off Springs Road, Mareeba. Visitors are asked to ring to confirm attendance. Members will shoot a 72 arrow during the morning. A General Meeting will be held at 12md.
