Mossman Golf Club’s Ladies Thursday Stableford Competition was won by Elizabeth Green with 36 points in 2nd Bette Wells with 34 points on a c/b in 3 rd Julie Hooker with 34 points. NTP’s – Maxine Leigh on 8, Carly Jack on 17. Friday’s 9 Hole Chook Run was won by Graeme Duncan with 23 points. NTP’s – Lisa Smith on 8. Saturday’s Mossman Golf Club Men’s Stableford Competition was won by Mitchell Croghan with 41 points in 2 nd Wayne Christensen with 39 points and in 3 rd Leon Baker with 38 points. Saturday’s Mossman Golf Club Ladies Stableford Competition was won by Julie Hooker with 33 points in 2nd is Trish Landy with 31 points and in 3 rd Jo Constantine with 27 points. Winner on the day was Tracey Dickinson, run down Judy Guzzwell, Edna Atkinson. Next week Stableford for club trophy. Another fine day greeted members for the Annual 18 Hole Flag Event sponsored by Dan Newman. Overall winner for the event was Tarnia Wright. Tarnia’s last stroke was on the 18th green just off the pin. Shane Escott was runner up landing his last shot on the edge of the 18th. Longest Drive for the Ladies was Prudence Wright & Mens Longest Drive was Travis Wright. Congratulations to all players, the day was challenging with the course a bit wet under foot. Wednesday’s Chook comp was well fielded, Jo Klease won the 9 Hole event with Annette Cane runner Up. This Wednesday’s comp will tee off at 8am.
