CAIRNS-BORN Catriona Gray has pulled off a stunning double by winning Miss Universe Philippines, two years after taking the Miss World Philippines title. CATRIONA Gray has been judged one of the most beautiful women in the world. Now she is considered one of the most stunning in the universe.

The Cairns beauty was named Miss Universe Philippines 2018 on Sunday night, two years after being crowned Miss World Philippines.

The 24-year-old Manilabased singer, artist, TV host and model began her catwalk career while attending Trinity Anglican School in Cairns, where she shone in the classroom and aspired to work in medicine.

Catriona also dominated the awards at Quezon City’s Smart Araneta Coliseum, winning best in swimsuit, best in long gown, best in national costume, JAG denim queen and Miss Ever Bilena.

Founder of online pageant magazine Missosology Ric Galvez was in no doubt.

“For many weeks she topped our Hot Picks ,” he said.

Catriona will represent the Philippines at the 67th Miss Universe pageant, which was last year held in Las Vegas.
