Acting Communities Minister Leeanne Enoch said the communities were gradually getting back on their feet but the funding round would close at midnight tonight. “These (community recovery) hubs will remain open and staff will remain on-site to help residents make their applications prior to the closure of these grants (tonight),” she said. “I would encourage anyone still needing a grant to prioritise getting their application in before they close.”
